"After two nights at the JW, I simply couldn't stay any longer. The JW is incredibly run-down, and the breakfast had no meat at all, just sausages to get by. I ended up canceling the last two nights and came to the Crowne Plaza instead. I was able to check in at 11 AM, and the front desk staff were incredibly efficient and professional. Service was top-notch. It's several tiers above the JW in every aspect."

"The location is excellent, right on Shangzhi Street, just a hundred meters from Central Avenue. There's a bus stop right outside, making it super convenient to get around. The room was spacious and the facilities were quite new. The showerhead was the best I've experienced in a hotel recently – really comfortable! The service was very warm and friendly, and there was a generous supply of bottled water. Breakfast was also quite rich. I stayed for 3 nights, and the breakfast menu was the same every day. I'd suggest varying some of the items daily."

"The hotel was spotless and impeccably clean. Sofitel Harbin's hygiene truly exceeded expectations. The room was dust-free, and the bedding was pristine, smooth, and soft against the skin, without any stains or odors. The bathroom was cleaned exceptionally thoroughly; the tiles and mirrors gleamed like new, and the toilet and sink were spotless. The wet and dry areas were completely dry with no standing water, and even the floor drains and corners were sparkling. Daily housekeeping was meticulous and prompt with replenishing supplies. The cleaning staff were professional and attentive. As someone very particular about cleanliness, I couldn't find a single flaw throughout my stay. I felt incredibly at ease and comfortable. This is definitely the gold standard for hygiene among five-star hotels in Harbin. The laundry room is also fantastic, with a sofa and TV where you can relax while your clothes are being washed. Highly recommended!"

The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful; check-in was smooth, and they even kindly offered welcome fruits. You can really feel their sincerity in every little detail. Coming to Harbin in the summer, the climate felt like I'd arrived in a city with its own air conditioning – a perfect evening with street food, a post-dinner riverside walk, and a visit to a bustling morning market with a lively local vibe. All of these made my trip to Harbin so enjoyable. It's so different from many big cities in the south; this is the slow-paced life I long for, and I think this is the true meaning of travel. Harbin is wonderful, and I'll definitely be back!"
